Once initial contact has been made via telephone or email to Happy Days at Hemsby the Chalet of your choice will be reserved for 7 working days from the date of reservation. We will require a £50 Deposit per chalet per week and a completed Booking Form within this time to secure your reservation. If the Deposit and Booking Form are not received within this period, the reservation will expire and the chalet may be made available for others to book. Prior to this happening we will try to contact you by phone or email just in case there has been an oversight.

 

Booking Deposit:-

All bookings must be accompanied with a deposit payment of £50.00 per week per chalet and a completed Booking Form.  A receipt will then be issued by Happy Days At Hemsby confirming your holiday booking and the balance payable and its due date.

 

Bookings made within 28 days of the start date of your holiday will require the full payment to be made with the booking.

 

The Deposit is a booking fee and is non-refundable in all cases.

 

Security Deposits.

In addition to the booking deposit there is also a refundable £50 security deposit. This can be paid in cash on arrival and will be refunded to you after we have checked the chalet when you hand back the keys.  This security deposit will be refunded in full on condition that the chalet is left in the condition you received it in, and there is no damage, breakages, lost keys, soiled beds or bed linen etc.

 

Balance Payment.

The balance of payment for your holiday must be received by Happy Days At Hemsby not less than 28 days before the commencement of your holiday. Failure to make the final payment by the due date will be regarded as cancellation of your booking. However we will try to contact you via phone or email just in case there is an oversight.

 

Payment by instalments.

To make paying for your holiday easier, we are happy to take payment by instalments at amounts that suit your budget; however the full amount must be paid in full 28 days prior to the commencement of your holiday.

 

Checking in on the day

Please telephone us 10 minutes prior to your arrival and we will meet you at the chalet to hand over the keys and to answer any questions you may have.  Chalets will be available from 2pm on the start date of your holiday.

 

Checking out

Check-out for all Chalets is 10am on day of departure. You will be met at the chalet for a personal check-out and collection of the keys. If you need to vacate the chalet prior to this, please contact us on 07506 299303 and we will meet you at the chalet as soon as possible.  Please be aware that if you are late booking out you will incur an extra charge of £20 per hour or part thereof.

 

The chalet(s) should be left clean and tidy and in the condition you received them, with all rubbish removed from the chalet and deposited in the refuse bins situated around the site.

 

You will be held responsible to make good or pay for the loss of breakages or damages to the chalet and all its contents.

 

You will be responsible for the security of the chalet during your holiday until you have been checked out of the chalet by us.

Remember if extra work, cleaning or repairs are required to your chalet it could jeopardize the return of your security deposit.

 

Lost keys

Lost or mislaid keys will incur a charge.  This charge will be collected at the time new key/keys are issued and includes the cost of call out.

 

Happy Days At Hemsby reserve the right to refuse admission to: -

a) Any person including children not named on the Booking Form.

b) Any person who in the opinion of Happy Days At Hemsby are not suitable persons to take charge of the chalet.

In these circumstances no refund of holiday monies paid will be refunded.

 

All our holiday chalets are on managed holiday parks.  Happy Days At Hemsby, the site owners and the Police also have the right to ask any person or holiday maker to leave the site if their behaviour is not acceptable. In these circumstances no refund of holiday monies paid will be refunded by Happy Days At Hemsby, the site owner or police and any cost incurred to evict will be pursued.

 

Changes in your booking by Happy Days At Hemsby.

In the unlikely event that your booked accommodation should become unavailable for any reason Happy Days At Hemsby will offer you alternative accommodation if this is available. Should a suitable alternative not be available then we will refund all monies paid to us. Happy Days At Hemsby will not be liable for any additional expenses or consequential losses incurred or suffered by you. We will of course give you as much notice as is possible and will try our very best to sort out any problems should they occur.

 

Changes made by you

After your booking has been confirmed by Happy Days At Hemsby should you wish to change either the chalet or week(s) booked this will be deemed to be a Cancellation of your booked accommodation and the Cancellation provisions will apply so please ensure you book the accommodation and week(s) you require.

 

Cancellation:

Your booking of a holiday chalet with Happy Days At Hemsby is a legal contract. If you cancel your holiday more than 90 days prior to the arrival date for the start of your holiday only your deposit will be lost. However if you cancel your holiday 90 days or less from your start date the full balance will be due and no refunds of any monies paid will be made. Cancellation will be deemed to have been made when acknowledged by Happy Days At Hemsby.

 

All male/female parties

Bookings for all male and female parties under 21 will not be accepted.

 

Smoking

All chalets are strictly NON SMOKING although you may smoke outside the chalets.

 

Pets

Pets of any kind are not allowed on Florida Holiday Park but are accepted on other sites.

 

Car Parking:

There is ample free car parking on all sites and usually only a short walk from your chalet; however it is not reserved and is on a first come basis.

 

All vehicles and their belonging are left at their owner’s risk.

 

On-site facilities

Happy Days at Hemsby do not accept any responsibility for any facilities that are not open during your stay – this is more likely to happen in low season.

 

Holiday insurance

Happy Days At Hemsby shall not be liable for the death of, or injury to any person (except as prohibited by law) nor for any loss or damage to personal property of any person on holiday or visiting any accommodation booked through Happy Days At Hemsby.

It is recommended by Happy Days At Hemsby that you take out holiday insurance to cover any loss or injury you may sustain whilst on holiday.
